I'm not debating this any longer, he was swamping the match day thread in an endless subject only he was talking about, making it impossible to talk about the actual match. Yesterday I got irritated that someone quoted my post about City being better than us all over the park with a non sensical reference to Brighton in the middle of October. This then unleashed a vitriolic volcanic eruption of anger, bitterness, rage and hatred from Roly. The irony being that I wasn't even talking to him at the time. I shouldn't have said that, but was irritated by the comment, Roly's response was off the scale though.
There were a few people taking about it actually. See 'nonsensical' it actually wasn't btw it was a good point someone made. keep your fingers in your ears, and if you ever have the integrity to honor the bet you lost using your great logic, then let me know please.
Wasn't a good point, it was totally irrelevant and made no sense with the conversation that was being had. It really wasn't even a "point"....And if Roly wants to debase himself like that, that's his own issue. And no, that stupid username thing isn't going to happen, with all your "I told you so", "was I right?", ""so you agree" stuff, you'd just be constantly talking about the username and nothing else.
But anyway, we were **** against a team we always lose against. Doesn't matter if we played well cos we still would have lost, they always beat us at the Etihad. Just don't play **** in games we can win.
Firstly it was a good point and secondly as I've said even if you think otherwise you don't get to just mouth off at that person. Schar is a very good player but not right at the top. He would have been the backup player if we had signed a RCB last summer and that would have given us very good strength in depth. Trippier is a mystery. He just seems to have a calamitous blunder in him all the time. Unfortunately Tino has been patchy which is understandable for his age and somehow Trippier found his old self in the Arsenal game.
