So we got some of the new blood we needed. Shame we couldn’t put in a decent performance for ninety minutes, but it was a bit encouraging to have managed two brief ten-minute spells! The new blood looked good, and seemed to have settled in very quickly. We could put out an eleven now whose ages would show a total of just over 200 years! (Maybe we might try that to give the tired “oldies” a break!) On Sunday we meet a team as inconsistent and disappointing to their supporters as we are.
