Aye didn’t seem a lot of logic. Surprised they didn’t look at a young attack minded manager. Kovac having been fired from a far lesser German side, as well as Monaco and Bayern, made nee sense at all to me.
Now we know that we need to beat Leeds by 9 clear goals to get to third place on Monday. A question. If we miss out this season I wonder if we can get Enzo on a similar deal for all of next season and buy if we go up then. Maybe Roma have got their eyes on Jobe. and now, back to the real world………
I think the issue with Enzo isn’t that the club wouldn’t do it, it’s that he likely wouldn’t. We’d have the money from a Jobe sale if we stay down, but 6 months second tier is very different to 18 months. I’d love to think we could do it, but realistically, no chance.
Didn't hate Luton for 90 minutes plus injury time today but hate them more now. They're bottom, play Plymouth at home midweek then their local derby at Watford ... ... lose those and they're staring at L1 next season and trips to Exeter and Stevenage. Then we'll see how many times the fill 'the Kenney' ... effective my arse
There’s only one team more talented than us in this league. That doesn’t mean we definitely beat them in a big game but I’m not scared of any of them.
Over 3 mins to decide that goal. Dispatch with this utter ****e that is VAR. What a ****ing mood hoover.
And what good is that doing them? They dropped two more points today and will probably end up playing West Brom, in the PO's who've won one of the last four. Clean sheets won't get them promoted at this rate and their supporters are much less pleased about them than you are ... ... spent big money, brought in players to attack more and don't look any better than they did. They're still in the FA Cup, against Preston again, where I can't wait to see if Hannibal and Mike Tyson are up against each other please log in to view this image
If we don’t go up this season, I suspect we’ll spend big in the summer. The club will know we are there or thereabouts now and will go big to get us over the line. I haven’t given up hope of us signing Enzo on a permanent if we stay down. The Jobe, Watson, Riggy or Dan money will allow us to do that. He seems happy and in love here already.
I think Burnleys commitment to keeping clean sheets will be their downfall as its leading to too many draws. Sheff Utd are grinding out results but they are only just, as a team I think they are poor, they just have 2 or 3 players that can win them games. I don't think they can continue to keep winning every game, they will slip up at some point and that's when we need to pounce
