Is Puerto basically not been played so we don't have to buy. As we have bought Zambrano? Why even bench him?
Not sure about Egan. Is he just a stop gap until Hughes is fit, or is he there so McL can play left back? In the absence of Hughes I'd rather see Jones/McL at CB and Jacob at LB.
We’ve looked our best when he’s on the pitch. It genuinely makes no sense he’s not even made an appearance.
Why put him on the bench if he can't play? He was sent out to warm up so it certainly looks like he could be brought in.
I don't think there is anything in the Puerta conspiracy theories more that he's been dropped since Selles has brought his own players in, in January
Hull City head coach Ruben Selles: "Every point is gold for us in the situation that we are in. "We have an argument that we could get three points but the opposition had a few chances. I think the game was competitive, the game was equal, and the point is probably fair for everyone. "We want to always get three points but recent experiences like today have not got any points – and today we got the point. It's put us a little bit closer to the target and we will build from there. "We scored the goal. But sometimes you play against an opponent that starts to connect a little bit better – and that pushed us backwards. The goal early in the second half meant we had to restart again. But after that we managed the game well." Norwich City head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup told BBC Radio Norfolk: "With the bad start to the game, we still created enough situations in the second half that we can expect to score the winning goal. "From minute 15 to minute 90 I am pleased with the performance in many ways. We had good control. "We had a good flow and a good rhythm and created a lot of situations, and I am a little bit sad for the boys because we didn't get the second goal we deserved. "It looked like we didn't get the pressing right in the first part of the game, and we changed after they scored and we started to create."
I liked Gelhardt's interview after the game, he put a decent positive spin on the situation. Bringing in 8 players was never going to make it a cakewalk but maybe they'll gel in time for the matches against teams around us.
Not half as ****ed as derby and luton Or as quarter as ****ed as plymouth In a way.. i think we are fortunate
I think within the next 5 games we'll know for sure but I still have confidence that anyone up to Oxford in 16th could get dragged into it
As we're not in the bottom 3 and no-one below us currently has any better form....no? We're in trouble no doubt but there's still 14 games left.
I think get past Sunderland and lets see how good we are. If we don't pick up the points we'll deserve to go down. We've got most of our hardest games out the way now - lets see what the squad is made of.
Not having dressing it up as a good point, another home game without a win , simple as that .Another home game it was ****ing freezing, why does it feel like it’s been freezing for about 10 games now . Roll on May
You mean Crooks and Matazo? It'll be interesting to see his next couple of starting 11's. If Crooks can score early on each time he starts then of course he has to start, but why not sub him earlier just before his legs go and give someone else, like Puerta, more time to get into the game. Slater blows hot and cold for me, he might be better coming on as a sub himself, and Matazo?, jury still out I think. I just think we're missing a trick leaving Puerta out, and it's so conspicuous it's bound to invite questions.
