A point I'd have taken before the game. The way it played out we were lucky to avoid another home defeat.
I’m not saying consistently, but we’ve looked so weak in the middle in the last 3 games, that for me, it was better with Puerta & Alzate who had more control than we currently do.
Totally agree with the poor game comments. Except for the first 10 Norwich were far the better team. Crooks playing high got us the goal but left us light in midfield. I expected Puerta or Matao to come on at half time and was very surprised and disappointed that Selles did not make the change. And then proceeded to wait until fairly late in the game to make it. Also puzzled why Arambat does not get any minutes, based upon his cameo in the one time he came on. Dont understand why we sign players like him only to not play him. For that matter Vaughan could have done as well as some of the players who played on wing today including Barry.
I’m not confident at all. The big worry is that too many teams start putting distance between us and them. If Portsmouth, Stoke and Cardiff start getting 6 or 7 point gaps then it’s between us, Derby, Luton and Plymouth.
2 home wins all season is pretty bad , last season you just missed out on top 6. Decent players good fans but something isn't clicking.. Norwich have one of the worst away records so something had to give
what ive seen of cardiff, theyre almost identical to us you have no idea what to expect, could be great, could be ****
I would be extremely surprised if Norwich do much better than Hull this season, you won't go down that's for certain
It’s frustrating and nervy right now but every point counts in a relegation battle. Still believe we won’t go down simply based on new players we’ve brought in eventually finding some consistently good form but you can bet your last dollar City will be part of a 4 or 5 club last game potential scenario at Pompey. UTT.
There's an obvious lack of quality all over the pitch, the subs were odd, but there are no players on the bench that can get a grip of a game and make a difference. Crooks and Gelhardt seemed to tire out quite quickly. That was Pedro's worst game for us IMO. Thought Macca played very well out of position. Still not convinced by Egan.
