I did say this burning the quran would Increase over Europe after that guy in sweden was murdered by jihadists in his flat for doing the same. Call me crazy but any religion where you are required to kill non believers has no place in modern western society. There's absolutely no justification for attacking someone with a knife over a book, I don't care what fuking book it is. Note the randon food delivery guy giving him a sly kick on the floor too. I'd take a wild guess he's a Muslim who thinks it's okay to attack someone over a book too. This is a problem that people seem to want to shy away from for fear of being offensive.
You burn someone's religious book or something meaningful to them, you shouldn't be surprised if someone knocks your lights out or chases you with a knife. I agree he has the right to do it... But idiot if he expected he wouldn't anger someone to retaliation. That doesn't make the attacker in the right, and the attacker absolutely should get arrested. This has nothing to do with Islam directly... I'm sure the same thing would have happened burning a Bible, or a Jewish flag, or even a Millwall football shirt.
Thing is though mate, it's that thing called respect. If you burn someones religious text or flag or football scarf, it's disrespectul, it has a probability of attracting a reaction, very similar to people being racist to your partner, they might get a reaction they weren't banking on.
The vast majority of them don't believe they have to kill all non believers... I mean, Spurlock has only tried to kill a few of us, and he let's you live . Every religion has its extremists. How many people did Europeans kill around the world in Christ's name in the 16th, 17th centuries. I would wholeheartedly agree though, any who think they need to kill or hurt non believers deserve to be locked up or deported. That's not most of them though.
We just don't agree on this mate. Like I said if you find someone burning a quran so offensive that it makes you go grab a knife and attack someone in broad daylight outside an embassy then you and that book don't belong here imo. Go live in Saudi where thashot is the law of the land. As far as I'm aware in England you can burn any books as long as you own them. I'm gonna go attack someone reading the sun newspaper cos it offends me... That sounds fuking bat **** crazy innit? Yeh cos it fuking is
I'm not really agreeing with the guy chasing him with a knife. I'm more saying if you do certain disrespectful things, you might get a reaction. If I stood outside Anfield burning a Liverpool scarf, do you think anyone that attacks me should be deported? I'm not going to try btw, I don't fancy my head kicked in....
Difference here is Christianity changed from the days of murdering people for Blasphemy and it had too change to adapt to modern ways. Islam has no intention of doing that. Quite the opposite actually.
There's still plenty of Christian cults doing some very ungodly things... But yes, by and large today's Christians aren't the monsters they had been throughout much of their history... And yes, there are some unstable groups and sects within Islam, probably more than most other global religions. That said, if you anonymously asked Muslims in the UK if they think non Muslims should be slain, I'm sure well over 99% of them would say no.
Really...you not noticed those nutters in the US who try to murder (and sometimes succeed) people who work in abortion clinics?
Can't say I have no. But Where in the bible does it tell you to go and murder people having abortions?
They use the "eye for eye, a tooth for a tooth" passage from Leviticus 24:17-22 to justify their violence.
Eye for an eye would suggest a response to something. No? Kill all unbelievers and take thier women as sex slaves doesn't come across as a response to me more a direction/instruction.
