<peacedove>After a disappointing Merseyside Derby we have Wolves at home on Sunday 16th February.
After that, we are playing Aston Villa away on Wednesday 19th of February and on Sunday 23rd of February away to Manchester City all in the Premier league. The game is coming thick and fast.
By the time we play Wolves the gap at the top of the table can be only four points. Arsenal playing relegation threatened Leicester on Saturday 15th of February.

Referee has been appointed for this game. He is, SIMON HOOPER.

If you are still seething, you are not alone. The officiating was diabolical at Tottenham, and while the red cards and offside goal hit the headlines, fans spotted more wrong decisions.
Referee: Simon Hooper. Assistants: Adrian Holmes, Simon Long. Fourth official: Sam Barrott. VAR: John Brooks. Assistant VAR: Adam Nunn.

Celtic are the Hoops. Just a throwaway joke after our last referee appeared to be biased against us.

Need to have a 2 goal lead now as we've really failed to see out many games on a 1 goal lead.

    Alisson
    Bradley konate vvd robertson
    gravenberch macallister
    Salah Szoboszlai gakpo
    Jota.

    No more Diaz at 9
Sub in trent just to mind him at the outset.
    Sub in tsimikas

Need to win this by a good margin and move on

Gakpo is a doubt.....looked like he was struggling when he came off

We're better with Diaz left and Jota up top imo.

I think Gakpo has been better than Diaz this season. Diaz had a bright start, but Gakpo has been more consistent overall imo.
No doubt Jota is best in the middle, but he can't stay fit.

Gakpo has a huge contribution this season.

Clear no 1 lw for me.

As long as we have a lead of 2 it will be OK.

Zero confidence in us defending anything less. Too many times now. We give up too many chances to shoot or cross.

Their strength is attacking so this could well be a pretty high scoring game j.

This season we have been able to get a draw or win from losing position than ever before.

Or a draw from a winning position.

We've done ok, but it's salah that's doing it. It can be a special season but salah is turned a good side into a title contender.

It's a lot better than we were in 2013/14 but it's not nearly as good as team as 2019/20 (imo)

More reason we should extend his contract.

Yeah, Gakpo has clearly been the better off the left this season. Slot appears to agree as he gets the nod more often ahead of Diaz.

Gakpo is clearly better playing on the left but so is Diaz. If it was straight choice for the left spot, I'd go with Diaz

If we has a 9 that could be relied on we might even have this issue to debate.

Unfortunately slot seems to what to solve this debate by shifting Diaz to 9 where he is utterly ineffective.

Gakpo been much more productive on the left than Diaz has tbh.

Diaz has ability to carry a ball and beat a man with some skill but his final ball is still lacking a bit. Had a good spell at start of season but not consistent.

gakpo on the other hand has much more about him goal threat wise. However is a lot more predictable.

both very different types of left wingers

Diaz had a good spell at the start of the season before being moved inside to accommodate Gakpo because Jota got injured
