Just bumped into him at the seafront this afternoon. Had a bit chat with him, he's been up a few days and was enjoying the sea air. Great to see him looking so well.
A third would have been nice but that was exactly what I wanted. A pleasant evenings footy had by all. Except Luton
Late to the party with my comments Yesterday was a really professional performance, I didn't think we got out of 1st gear tbh and really could have done a number on them I actually didn't like the starting line up, I wanted Mayenda to start instead of Rigg or Roberts. I didn't think Rigg was great in possession but his movement and defensive work was very good. Roberts was outstanding, I get so annoyed at him as he has so much ability but too many games bypass him by - it didn't last night. He played at so much pace and that's when he is so dangerous. O9 had some unreal touches and moments of calmness and I loved Ballard starting as he just went and bullied their CFs. Hume and Cirkin were class, good both defensively and going forward. Isidor didn't have his best game but it was a class finish and he really has improved his pressing and knowing when to do it Le Fee is just a joy to watch, can't wait till he has an out an out LM in the team with him. I think him and Mundle will be class together, Le Fee is always looking to play through the lines and when you have a pacey winger like Mundle in the side it'll keep dropping teams deeper - which then gives Roberts and Le Fee the space they want. Jobe was class as always, we are a different side when he's in it Final word on Neil, what a performance!!!! I've said it a few times recently about Neil's performances but you won't see many better performances than his last night. I honestly think he's the most in form CM in the league at the minute. Him and Jobe are my fave ever CM combo for us tbh, they have a bit of everything as a 2 and would run through a brick wall for us fans Shame the other 3 didn't drop any points but all we can do is focus on our results
They're not often candidates for MOTM but they both made a big contribution to the game ... ... impossible to see if you have blinkers on.
I had to move as well mate, some people are just not suited to supporting a football team. They never let up and don't have any awareness of the effect they have. A few hundred scattered around the ground gradually chip away at the atmosphere then, lo and behold, end up criticising the atmosphere Never mind mate, enjoyed the game and some brilliant moments ... ... pleasure to meet up and hope to see you again this season.
