No, I stated that the ref was ****e for both teams. He's a ****e referee who is somehow elevated to paragon of virtue status. I keep posting the Salah foul as an indicator of how wretchedly bad he is (he was 15 yards away) and to counter the facile nonsense you keep spewing in the name of trolling that it wasn't a foul. It clearly was. One of many, many decisions that clown got wrong for both sides last night.

And ffs, your fans, and Shearer in particular went on for ****ing months a couple of seasons back when we scored with the last kick at Anfield. There's mass hysteria up here in the NE when Newcastle get a decision that goes against them. Buy yourself a ****ing mirror! :emoticon-0143-smirk

Dear me. Just when I thought you couldn't be any more ridiculous.

I'll leave it there. You're obviously just an attention seeker. <ok>

Or you're so emotional that you're unable to make good decisions.

At least you've admitted what I pointed out.

Also when I said all fanbases it covered everything.

100% this, very proud of our Curtis.

Would have loved Slot to have decked to referee too rather than an "aggressive handshake"

Regarding Slot's red card. Totally uncalled for and avoidable. As others say above, no point confronting the ref, it achieves nothing.

That said, don't underestimate that the players will be aware of that red, and that Slot go it defending them. There could be a silverlining of a psychological closeness the players might feel as a result.

Most of the time, there is no point. Sometimes you have to stand up and defend your honour. Slot did what he needed to do imo. No excuse for that level of incompetence from the ref

Pep did exactly the same previously btw, didn't even get a yellow.

Well i perfer to take refs as a given.

I predicted pregame when I heard about oliver that you could do what you liked but never back chat and never kick the ball away.

One of theirs was booked for calling for cards, one ours was booked for kicking ball away.

Slot was a smidge sarcastic. Instant red.

He is a little man with an inferiority complex. Simple.

    He was a given.

So same as Newcastle. 3-2 up.didnt deserve it but we're there and kelleher doesn't deal with a simple ball.

Same as man utd. 2-1 up slot wouldn't sub off trent. Just deal with it.

Same now again. There's 3 or 4 players trotting back as konate and vvd have to play head tennis with them.

Trent skys it rather than clears it as well. Nobody getting close. A ball is hacked in.

The goal was coming sort of as it felt inevitable because we were giving them shots. What happend to slots don't let people have any chances. They had 3 or 4 hacks at it before tarkowski hit one he will never hit again.

I'm convinced it will happen again this season as we simply.are not closing out games.

That's now 6 points gone in draws that we lead in

I think he gets a thrill out of seeing someone answer his ridiculous comments.
He's like many people who never grew up and have to behave badly to get attention.

Exactly what I was thinking. We have to stop this happening. Last night was very frustrating. Yes, we played poorly, yes we fell into their trap of emotional play but having gotten to the point of winning 1-2 with seconds left, we should have been more professional

You got away with it at St James this season. Isak should've had a pen (stonewall) then the ref blew when Newcastle were in on goal to win the match. Liverpool fans will moan about a handball that wasn't given.

Seems like you guys are not very aware and just ignore when things go for you.

You don't get to just look and the evidence you like..we all get decisions for and against.

I usually resist replying to occasional visitors for that reason. Sometimes the annoyance factor is too strong to keep quiet.

It's annoying because your emotional decision is being confronted. It's just your response to that decision being confronted.

Rather than discuss the matter you simply go straight to insulting the person confronting your view. It's a primitive response deep seated within your personality.

All I've done btw is highlight that you're picking out all the evidence to justify your decision and at the same time conveniently ignoring anything to the contrary.

I couldn't have been any more reasonable when I said all fanbases do the same thing.

Refs are a given. Each has their own foibles and will make calls based on that.

    That's all I'm saying.

We failed to actually get shape at the end, chasing up the park, playing head tennis and not getting it off the park.

Same as kelwlr letting a easy catch sail over his head cos he didn't want to make a mistake and ends up conceding a goal.

We have to do better on the basis as salah won't be carrying us much longer.

It's funny isn't it when literally the only comment made 'two wonderful goals, added to the league points and no new injuries' produces a pseudo-analysis based on responses that don't even exist. <laugh>
The very definition of a straw man fallacy.

Actually I would agree that because it's all about emotional decision making, which is exactly what I've been referring to throughout the discussion.

Liverpool got out fought last night and just didn't get the nice easy ride they probably are accustomed to.

It was an entertaining game and without these days you can't appreciate the better ones.

    Yes exactly.

If you have say Taylor reffing you can see the gears whirling, he will take his time to make the big decision so he covers himself. All his decisions are based on covering himself.

If you've Oliver he is very reactionary. He will just pull a card and ignore any options he has for either advice or confirmation.

See his red card to Lewis skelly. See his straight red yesterday to slot for nothing.

See his instant cards right through the season for the silly little stuff that he's then ended up in trouble from arsenal or whoever after a second yellow.

Each one acts based on instinct and one view. The good ones have their lines and 4th official in their ear and listen
    We didnt get out fought.

We had too many players enjoying getting stuck in as well. Too many taken off thst would pass the ball and too many idiots sent on that just wanted to be stuck in as well.

Bradley, konate, vvd, macallister, Szoboszlai, Robertson and even Diaz were more interested in giving it back to play football.

We subbed off gravenberch and sent on Jones who was stupid and than sent off nunez who's an idiot too.

And of course jota who loves a sly dig.

They just played Everton's game not their own. If you make it a slog of course you'll then be in an end to end slog.
