Really don’t know why he started McLoughlin instead of Jacob. It’s not like Burnley are a particularly physical team with a lot of height. Playing McLoughlin against such a direct, quick winger like Anthony was an utterly ridiculous decision.

Don’t know what the ****’s up with Coyle. He’s been ****e for months but he just looks so dejected whenever we go a goal down. No motivation at all. Not inspiring from the captain, is it?

Burnley look a good side, controlling the midfield, good in possession and hardly give the ball away. Out wide causing us problems especially that Anthony. Was always going to be a tough game, the away form couldn’t continue and this is why the home form is so important. Hope I’m completely wrong but watching that first half I can’t see a come back on here. Always hoping.

I think we thought we could come out and attack them because they are known as being negative but we’ve not done it collectively when we attack , 3 go forwrd the rest stay 30 yds back we don’t have numbers in the box so it’s easy for their defence .

Same with the captaincy, in some ways. I don’t think it should be Coyle, but who would we give it to? Do we have any players other than Pandur or Jones that have kept their place in the squad consistently this season? Are either of those two leaders?
