I wrote with my tongue firmly in my cheek. Of course it was an amazing result for Queens Park. The last time they won the cup was in 1893.

 

I know we're on the slide/playing like a bunch of schoolboys, but isn't it heartwarming to see Luton back at the bottom of the table.

As for us notice Leeds fans saying we did well..

Cruel for Celtic letting the lead slip late on

 

Glasgow Rangers have sacked their manager after a 0-2 home loss to St Mirren. Apparently that is less acceptable than being being knocked out of the cup by lower league opposition.

 

New manager will probably get a bit of a free run for rest of the season to prepare for next time and they are still in Europe .

I'm going to be generous to him and suggest that the ball was on the rise as it reached him and he's just behind it... there was no head in hands moment, just a thumbs up.

It was just one of those things I guess. I can remember Terry Garbett missing an even worse chance - can't remember which game, but he tried to prod in a ball that was virtually on the line in the middle of the goal at the Vicarage Rd end, and succeeded in putting it over the bar.
I asked him how he managed it a couple of days later and his response was "Just one of those things"...

After their 15 point deduction earlier this season, Inverness Caley Thistle look on course to pull off a minor miracle. Still second bottom, but just one point behind third bottom Annan Athletic with a game in hand. Next week they play bottom club Dumbarton, with Annan at home a week later.
