To paraphrase a recent "joke" from Sounds of the 60s, I was given advice to invest in landfill but it turned out to be a rubbish tip.

Levy pays himself multi million pound bonuses for delivering record profits and colossal sporting failure. ENIC and Levy are here to increase the value of their investment, they are not here for sporting success, they are using this once great football club and it`s loyal fans to line their own (and shareholders) pockets, while at the same time pretending to have no money. The only surprise is that some gullible fans continue to be fooled by it.
We have not made a profit for four years. That's because we've spent every penny earned plus a bit more on transfer fees and salaries. This is completely clear from the accounts to those who bother to read them rather than relying on false information on click bait sites.
