Oh please no. I would die if we ended up there again. I just hate them fullstop. Should be banned and back to 3 up end of. all for telly I just find it baffling a team could finish 20+ points ahead of another and its back to a even playing field whats the point of playing a full league fixture list.
or atleast if you finish above a certain points difference you get a goal headstart or just a 1 leg at home. all for entertainment and money end of these bloody things.
Lets hope and pray this season will continue as it is and we can celebrate 3 or 4 games in. Mon The Whites!
Deep down I’m sure he’ll want promotion like the rest of us. I do get his point though that it’s more enjoyable hoping for a win rather than avoiding a defeat.
Just got our tickets sorted for wba game. Load of us heading. Wasn’t planned till tonight. I’ve no problem with promotion if we can be a competitive pl team. The 7-0 thrashing of Cardiff was my most enjoyable live Leeds game ever. Did anyone care it wasn’t in pl. like hell
Everyone has different perspective’s on the value to them of ‘winning’. I see sport as being the best you can be. I’d rather struggle in the prem playing against the best, than get excited by beating Plymouth in the championship. Im not as defeatist as some by our chances if/when we’re promoted either. If you survive the first year you have every chance of getting a foothold. This season, with the other sides coming up? We just have to be better than one team in the prem. Easy? No. Doable? Of course it is. Is the championship an entertaining division? Yes, but the ‘excitement’ for me is will we/won’t we get promoted. If we were 15 points clear, (which actually is what we deserve to be) I’d be bored sh*tless and probably wouldn’t bother watching the games. I take my kid to his football match every week. Before we go we know whether it’s a 10-0 game or a top of the table clash. Neither he nor I give a hoot about the 10-0 games. You want to be testing yourself against the best and trying to beat them. If you lose, you try and do better next time. In the prem next year every game would have a ‘big game’ feeling… and the satisfaction of a result against a good side far outweighs a 7-0 against Cardiff for me personally. None of this makes me ‘right’. It’s just how I see sport - completely respect others see it differently and get their kicks in different ways.
I’d add to this Milky that I remember mid table mediocrity in the Championship under the likes of Cellino where our season was more or less meaningless from about February and that was worse than struggling in the Premier League. Eire and I are a similar vintage and we have probably got a bit misty eyed about the merits of the Championship when something rides on every game in the season. Just shows how far the club has regressed over decades I guess
Maybe mate but for me the top 3 deserve the slots it's the whole point of playing 46 games find the best 3. You could beat a 6th place team 4-0 home and away in the season yet lose 1-0 in a playoff final to the same team tad unfair ain't it.butnit is what it is I guess.

It's gonna be a physical test tonight, they are a hurly burly side with plenty of push me pull you in them. last season we couldn't match the big strong sides this season we seem a tad better. I thought the others around us played tonight but they don't till tomorrow so we could well heap the pressure on with another win. Mon the Whites lets up the pace again and carry on this league form and put us in the perfect place for the so called big hitters in the next few weeks.
