Bit of a change in music genre. Before I got right into rave music in the late 80s I was bang into high energy music and I used to love this song. There was a record shop in Newcastle somewhere near the bus station that used to stock all the high energy stuff and I was there nearly every weekend buying something on 12”.
Another change in music genre.... Released 55 years ago yesterday, the album that launched a music genre. This is track 1 from side 1 of their self titled debut album, the whole album recorded in just 12 hours.This would have been the first that many had ever heard of these, and it scared the **** out of some people. My favourite ever band, had this album on in the car on the way home from work today. Still immense. Black Sabbath, by Black Sabbath.
