I am not having this "we played a team of nobodies" feckin crap. You only have to look at their front 3 for starters. That is a forward line that should bring fear to any Championship defence. Truth is we set out a plan, stuck to the plan and took the chance to win the game when it was offered. There was no doubt about the penalty and it was despatched with aplomb. The atmosphere in the ground was typical of Home Park and the players responded in kind. Great performance and correct result with no fluke involved.

I have a theory. Our players have been made to sit through hours of Burnley videos prior to the last few games. Hence the "nil" against scores. It may not be pretty but by george it's effective. Could we just shock the rest of football by climbing out of the mire?

I agree sensible, first of all what a day and result.. i cant see us goping down, the defence is now looking solid hopefully peggy is ok, they will be tired for the Millwall match but what a great team display and the support..
I dont care what team they put out, nut Jota, NUnez and co couldnt get through.

The team is working hard and will get us out of this mess .. cant wait until wednsday..

City at home next will do us.. i dont care and its extra cash..

You didn’t mention Chiesa. Star of the 2020 Euros.

He didn’t get much change out of Puchaccz did he?

Talksport said that after the match Katic went back on the pitch and found his tooth.....and plans to have it put back in.

Katic,Talovierov and Puchacz are real warriors.....we have an option on buying Puchacz....Talovierov is alreadty ours (record purchase) and if we stay up then Katic (he has a year left on his contract) we need to buy....assuming that he would want to stay.

And then we have Suzc coming back from injury. He’s no slouch either.

Buying Puchacz if we can is a no brainer. Not only big and strong but can hit a decent long pass and vicious corners and free kicks.

I imagining Joe Edwards on the right and Puchacz on the left……..

I’m not denying the an acquisitions have been good ones but let’s not underestimate the influence of Muslic. He’s brought clarity to what was a very muddy tactical puddle of confusion before his arrival.

I thought I’d share a little human story and an insight into my life.

My other half and I arrived early for the game and went for a stroll up into the park. She can’t pass a shop of course so we went into the club shop. She found a tee shirt and as there was already a queue, I went and sat on the Life Centre wall while she paid.

She comes out with a bag and a white Scottie dog on a lead.

How does that happen? It doesn’t happen to me.

It is still sinking in that we have beaten one of the best teams in Europe.

You can only beat the players that are put in front of you.....at the end of the day Liverpool felt that these players where good enough to do the job....and they where wrong.

Our defence has changed dramatically since the January window.....surely Liverpool realized that....if not then they deserved to lose.

Man City playing Real Madrid tonight....we need them to win and knock Real Madrid out of the competition.....which would mean they have a heavy work load and rest some of their star players for the FA Cup......is it too much to ask that they underestimate Argyle as well.....at the worst there will be a big pay day plus TV money as well.

Wednesdays Millwall match is so important for Argyle.....they must not underestimate Millwall's present form.....won their last three league games....plus going to Leeds in the cup and winning 2-0.....did Leeds also rest some players and paid the price.

No a real one, wearing a Plymouth Argyle doggie coat. Somebody wanted to go into the shop and no dogs are allowed so "we" volunteered to look after it. Cute thing mind.

It could of been worse.....the dog could have been wearing a Liverpool or Man U or C coat...
Even an Exeter coat so count your blessings.

That wouldn't have made any difference to her.

    Or me TBH.

I'm perusing various Argyle things and I see that people are beginning to call Nikola Katic and Maksym Talovierov "Beebop and Rocksteady".

I was surprised as as as far as I know, they are a style of jazz (Beebop) and a precursor to reggae (Rocksteady).

What I didn't know is that they were also characters in the Mutant Ninja Turtles series. This is they. Form your own opinion.
