Means our game against them in March will be postponed, could lead to a pivotal Tuesday night for us in the latter weeks of the season.

It may also give Plymouth confidence for the remainder of the season.

If we lose 5 point gap to plymouth
We deserve to be bottom so no worries

Still very close Brady, we lose one they win one there is only a point in it. Two weeks ago they looked awful but since then with their new signings they have beaten WBA, drawn at Sunderland and beaten Liverpool so they are on a role with new confidence. Hopefully though we will do enough ourselves regardless of what they do or others to stay up. Everyone is fighting though and as seen in a lot of recent results anyone can beat anyone in this league. We need our home form sorting out otherwise we are going to be in this constant battle with the bottom three.

oh i agree, but if we did lose that 5 point gap to them, we have only ourselves to blame
i dont think we go down though, but the home games against, derby, luton and plymouth probably decide it..

youd think we can get 7 points. but at home.. it could be 0

Works both ways. Their game on Wednesday could be after the Lord Mayors show.

Probably higher wages and he lives in the midlands

By all accounts, blackburn are horrible to work for
Their owners have absolutely zero ambition
They dont want to spend a penny more than they have to
    Its basically going nowhere

When we were looking for a manager Baz kept hinting that Eustace would come here. Seemed weird at the time but I guess he's been making it clear he wants out for a while.

Still think we should have gone for him. Think he'll keep them up, at the expense of... well we'll see...

    Why?
QPR had a good look at him over a good period of time in his assistant and caretaker roles, but didn't appoint him to take over.
Did ok in one season at Birmingham, but still they decided, harshly tbf, to get rid.
His record at Blackburn isn't anything special.
We could have done worse than him for sure, but would you really want him above Selles?

    Also
Blackburn have been paid almost 30m in transfer fees in the last year

Theyve spent almost nothing of it
    Awful owners

I like Selles but Eustace has comfortably got a better record in the Championship.

At the time I’d have definitely preferred Eustace. Content with Selles now though.

Championship experience, done fine wherever he's been. Would have been a safe bet to keep us up. And yes I would purely because he's tried and tested at this level rather than a punt.

Lost a couple of big players. But spent around £5mill and brought in quite a few including PL loans. On the face of it, he's been / being supported, just not enough as he would like I guess, plus likely not good owners to have to work with, but hardly decimating the (big)) squad. ??
