I have seen more pussy than I've seen trophies, and that's saying something.

 

Villa have won 20 trophies, if you include the European Super trophy and The Charity shield (i dont) it's 22.

But
A) they shared the Charity shield with spurs so were actually joint winner.

B) 7 trophies were in the 1800s
(6 titles and 1 fa cup)

C) they last won the fa cup in 1957
(Won 7)

D) in my life time (from 1967) the have won the CL (old version), The Title, and 4 league cups...that's 6 (8 if you include the charity shield and European super cup.

They are undoubtedly a big club history wise.

 

Is there any way to nail to the r/coys motherboard that the only reason Villa's wage bill is higher than ours is because their entire plan was hoping they could outrun PSR long enough to qualify for the CL with zero safety net if they failed to do so so maybe we shouldn't be emulating that?

Especially as Villa did the exact same thing under Martin O'Neill, only to demonstrate what happens when they finished sixth and FFP caught up with them and wanted to take them outside for a friendly chat?
