The damp conditions introduced a bit of jeopardy into the game, even the great Dupont produced schoolboy howlers and France should have been out of sight by time England levelled just before halftime. In the 2nd half We got at them and made a game of it. Smith made two awful misses that looked like costing us but the crazy finale was a just reward for a great 2nd half effort. That match has breathed new life into this year's championship...
It is gonna be a fun couple of days seeing friends then going back to work next week...I struggle to be a good winner.
great post Nobody should underestimate how difficult the 6N is. Home advantage is worth min 5-7pts. Ireland 10-12pts better than this Scottish team but tomorrow’s game will go down to the wire
Haven’t seen any of this tournament so far. Seem to have lost the mojo for the game, looks like it’s completely ****ed up at club level in Wales and England at least which has transferred to the national teams, despite the shock win today. Am I missing anything in terms of quality rugby?
Georgia instead of Wales for a year could be a good idea Might stir the Welsh on Is there some sort of European competition below the six nations or would you just drop the sixth team each year for the next European team in the international rankings
wales struggling at the moment. They will come back. Dropping them down a level at this particular stage would be devastating. I do think though that in order to grow the game and give an incentive to other developing nations that Georgia and Portugal should be included. 8 nations in 2 pods of 4 then semi finals and final
Scotland are the most improved team over the past couple of years, if Ireland aren't at their best they could come unstuck...
Let’s not forget that Italy lost 36 consecutive Six Nations games so we’ve got some way to go …. Anyway, the new World Rugby competition will undoubtedly bring changes over the next 5-10 years
