Id never seen any of them but during lockdowns needed films to watch so ended up watching all of the Star Wars films.

Didnt mind the original 3. Hated the prequels. Really enjoyed the sequels.

Which I understand is quite the unpopular opinion in Star Wars world. Shows the importance of ‘being there’ in cult stuff I think.

ABC used to do a late night screening on a Friday or Saturday night. Saw some iconic films during that: Quadrophinia, The Warriors, The Wanderers, Porkies, Rollerball, Assault on Precinct 19.

Also saw Led Zep The Song Remains The Same I think but I was too drunk to remember so I can't verify that.

Then burger and beans from Bun In The Oven.

Second worst food poisoning I've ever had from there.

    Happy days.

Pride myself in never seeing any Star Wars films or Game of Thrones, or Harry Potter come to think of it.
Same with James Bond, never watched one, even on the telly.
But I can watch Zulu, Kes, Deerhunter, Taxi Driver and Papillon time after time and still enjoy them.

My daughters, when children, loved Harry Potter and learned to read and write fluent English from reading the books.

We’re signing jabba the hut from tattooine fc. Great goalie, he literally lies in front of the goal covering every inch of it making impossible for other teams to score a goal. His distribution is quite slow though.

Think you're depriving yourself a bit there TT. GoT is basically a really good political thriller with a bit of sex, violence and fantasy thrown in, need some staying power to see it through though...

Im not a big Star Wars fan so I couldn’t reel any of them off but they’re all minor things in the original films aren’t they? Every story has plot holes and inconsistencies somewhere if you look hard enough.

Either way, they are considered film making masterpieces ahead of their time, and everything else that came since just, isn’t.
