We won 3-0 on Boxing Day 2015, Livermore, Hernandez and Clucas.

Edit: No we didn’t, that was at home <doh>

Didn’t we win in Bruce’s first season 1-0 with Alex in centre mid ?
Lots on here slagging him saying he was **** then Don Goodman said Alex was playing so well sniffing out all the gaps and stopping them getting going
    Went quiet after that

Yeah. 3-5-2 with four centre-halves playing.

It’s funny because back threes/fives were still something of a rarity in English football at the time so Bruce was considered a trend-setter.

It was a proper back three as well. Not ‘overlapping centre-halves’ like Wilder did at Sheffield United a few years ago and what Inter do now. Chester was the closest thing to a ball-playing defender but Faye, Bruce, McShane and Hobbs were all solid, old school centre-halves.

Saw us lose 4-1 there, February 1973, 'football special' from Hull Paragon direct to Burnley. Stood on the Longside. Good day out spoilt by the result.

Just google mate. Tiger tiger burning bright.

That introduction was the best we have ever had.

If someone mentions tiger feet or tiger rag I'll scream.

I think they should play it at Burnley. Put the fear of god in them.

Couple of tough away games now although they are probably two totally different games, Burnley such a tough side to score against, their defending as a team must be the best in the division. Probably boring to watch but they are at the top end of the table because of it. Can we score against them, many don’t but let’s hope we can. A performance of the Sheffield utd game will be needed although these won’t leave themselves open like Sheffield utd. I’d definitely take a boring game but good point in this one.
