Nah. It’s just the gap is massive now. He didn’t overachieve, and he was a big, big problem. Not sure why everyone is getting wound up now this season. Yeah it was crap today, but it’s irrelevant. This season is about getting to the end of it, and getting more points than Derby. That’s it. That’s all that matters. Then it’s the big reset under the new team.
We had a better squad last season tbh Che, brooks, there was some chemistry in the side. This seasons team is worse than last seasons by a long way. Shows how absolutely atrocious the owners are. Fernandes and ramsdale are upgrades but we are worse almost everywhere else
I thought Saints looked good except before the lack of chances for the forwards. We are toothless up front but improving elsewhere. We would have won if we had a decent forward.

Not sure what game you were watching to be honest. We were absolutely awful. Offered less than nothing. One of our worst performances in years and that is a high bar. Against Burnley’s reserves FFS they made more changes than we did. Everyone at the club should be completely embarrassed. (They won’t be though as none of them give a ****). Strolled about like a bunch of pricks in the second half. Hate this team. Absolute garbage, every single one
Sulemana,Wellington,..Aribo, Bree.and Fernandes played well. Massive improvement from Russell but not sure Juric in the man for next season. But I am not negative about this match. Error cost us a game we should have won.
If they are true professionals they will be revved up for next season when they will 99% get a chance to show their capabilities at a comfortable level and rebuild. If they dick around and sulk then we were wrong to sign them as they don't have the desired qualities, which is a common Saints experience.
We did..... and then we sent him out again I am guessing whatever has happened with Downes wasn't entirely expected when we sent Charles out again. (or if it had already occured, it wasn't expected to be a long term issue).
The best thing about that game - well, probably the only good thing - is that it surely helps to ensure that Juric is gone at the end of the season. Ideally about 6pm on Sunday 25th May we'll see the statement issued. I'm still fine with us appointing him. I called for a lame duck appointment until the end of the season, and that's what we hopefully have. My worry is that we might go and do something stupid by sticking by him, but results like today should help to avoid that. His tactics today, not to mention his substitutions, were horrific. That doesn't bother me this season, but it would hugely bother me next season.
Who needs a midfield when you can play everyone at CB instead? Be it FBs, or CMs, or occasionally even actual CBs.
See, I was at the Forest game when Downes made that challenge (right in front of us) and I said to Mini Lincoln that it looks like he was trying to get himself sent off. We both laughed at my negativity and yet..... A player throwing his toys out about a move isn't that uncommon but what the actual **** is going on at the club at the moment?
