I see the away games as chances. Better pitches, not having to play in a currently not good home form situation, teams at the top end ending results with fans expecting to attack leaving space. No reason to suggest we cant do what we did against Blades. I just hope Selles arm isn't up his back with the team selection. As an example for me Puerta not playing is financial.
Our away form has been really good however I don’t think it’s something we can rely on, great if we do but I think it’s imperative our home form picks up. Yes not a good pitch but most teams who usually come here don’t moan much about it probably because they go away with 3 points. Pulling away from the bottom three is going to be so hard without average home form.
Yes i think if we keep our 12% home win rate We do go down Especially with the home game 6 pointers vs plymouth, luton and derby Surely we can get 7 points minimum from those
So true, even the bottom team Plymouth have drawn at Sunderland and WBA. We HAVE to start getting points at home.
I believe Feb will be a difficult month but if we don't panic, at the end of March we will be out of relegation battle. My forecast: Feb - 2 or 4 points, depends if we can win in Wales Mar - 11 points April-May - 10 points Should be enough for somewhere between 15-20. We need to be healthy and ready in March, because we will face bottom half of table there.
Ok then, I'll be more positive.... ... Yeah, I know! But that's how it's going to be isn't it? Hard to see it panning out differently given we miss next week's round of games, then have Burnley, Norwich and Sunderland to play! Thanks for the self help . I just see it as realism.
Just remember that the last 3. Games are a farce as those not interested give it up , so teams lose where they shouldn’t and win likewise we could do to be sorted by then .
