We've caused problems in the final 3rd but that was poor Defensively all over the place, we aren't tracking runners and keep diving in. Need more control in CM, missing Neil in the deeper role controlling things, roberts offering nothing so far and Isidor been really sloppy when the ball is played into him Rigg picking up some nice positions but has to do better with his 2 chances
I think we’re doing ok. Clear penalty. A bit rash in defence. Actually think Samed looks tidy. Think we’ll get this second half with a couple of minor tweaks
Don’t think it’s necessarily Samed mind I just don’t think him and Neil play well together. Missing Jobe in the midfield big style. Our best CM is on the wing and our next best is out injured
Think we are better than these but both sides vulnerable to the counter, we need to up it a level and no reason we can’t win it
Such a poor half that. Lack of tempo in possession and a lack of intensity out of possession. The Dan Neil in the 8 experiment needs to end. He can't play there. Doesn't have the running power of Jobe and doesn't have the guile of Rigg, he's offering absolutely nothing. Need something different in the wide areas. Roberts in particular has been anonymous. Cirkin is miles off it. Dreadful performance. Should’ve been sent off. Need to improve massively. Absolutely can't back Monday up with a performance like this.
Shame mundle or Watson aren’t back quite yet. With Jobe out it would have been the perfect game for ELF to come into the middle We’ve been the best team so far though. Have to trust that quality will come through again and get us over the line.
Disappointing end to the half but I thought we would go on to score a few more goals after that first. Has anyone noticed the amount of shots rigg has had the last few games where he should've scored or hit the target. Certainly not knocking the lad but think he should've had a few more goals than he has already this season
Samed doesn't create anything, and quite a few missed passes, bad clearances... Seems to be 3 seconds behind the pace imo
Too many coasting and thinking it was an automatic win. Drop Neil back and replace Samed with a more attacking player, Mayenda. We are at our best quicker tempo and on the front foot. Defensively we do not play as a unit. Always a big gap between 09 and Mepham. Jobe a big miss.
