Great pass by Hayden Hackney. I don't watch too much of Boro, so it's a small sample size, but when I do see him, he often impresses me.

Saints 64

After 30 games in 24-25:

Leeds 63
Sheff Utd 61
Burnley 58
Sunderland 58
Blackburn 45

Top four even further clear this season than last. And an even tighter race for the top two.

(We never actually went 4 points clear of 3rd. Leeds played, and won, their 31st game whilst we played, and won, our 30th.)

 

Two words to describe this Man Utd - Leicester game:

****ing ****.

 

Exactly what Man United deserve.

 

We're so lucky that ITV picked this as a TV game. Magic of the cup.

 

Will still have far more than viewers than some **** lower league team putting 10 men behind the ball against a higher league team.

All the TV company care about is ratings and Utd will always be picked for that reason. Have more chance of having “proper” cup ties on tv if Sky had the coverage I reckon, they show enough of the top teams so might be more inclined to show something different

 

Yeah of course hence United being shown all bar one of their last 600 FA Cup ties or something stupid.

In fairness it was a pretty dross draw this time round too.

 

Yeah. I’m not fussed about the cup and never have been (Saints games aside of course). Find lower league teams playing top teams incredibly dull so wouldn’t be watching them, but appreciate I may in the minority

Is it needed ?

 

Both teams deserve relegation on that showing.

Just said exactly same elsewhere. Some effort though, they'll be showing that one for a long time.

 

Orient are giving City plenty of problems with their direct style of play.
