Not very well. He has not settled and OM apparently want to get rid of him. We played them at Nice about 2 weeks ago and he was on the bench. He came on about half way through the second half and contributed nothing in their 2-0 defeat.
I think the PinkUn said it was an obligation without having to meet sny minimum requirements. A real shame as he could have had an amazing season here, and how we could have done with a RW of his quality.
Looking at the WhoScored stats he still outscored two of Marseille's starters. It's sad to see a player with so much skill and potential make such a big mistake. He's only had 3 starts with an average score of 7.04 with all the other appearances as sub, one for as little as 0 minutes.
In fairness I should have said that he was poor within a mediocre team and there were more experienced players who were no better then him. What does concern me is that OM have the reputation of mastering the dark arts of financial affairs and I fear that their interpretation of the loan agreement differs from that held by NCFC.
That wouldn't reflect well on Knapper's dealing skills if it happens, but I wouldn't mind him returning to us. His value could well exceed €17m in the future.
Started off with a bang, his two goals being scored in Rounds 4 and 6 of Ligue 1; the first was nominated for Goal of the Month (Aug-Sept). He has primarily been played at LW or CF, but latterly has had a couple of sub appearances at AM. It looks as if de Zerbi doesn't know what to do with him; or just isn't prepared to change things to accommodate him. OM are second in the table at the moment, but well behind PSG who they were hoping to dethrone this season.
In what way? It's the job of our legal team, not the Sporting Director, to make sure contracts are watertight.
Watford leading Sunderland 1:2, and WBA beating Sheffield Wed, both matches now in extra time. Sunderland have just levelled it at 2:2. Same at FT. Meanwhile Wednesday have levelled at West Brom with 2 or 3 minutes still to go.
