I will preface any comment by conceding that Utd would have shipped at least 7 goals tonight - so I’m not trying to act superior.
But Ange has lost the plot. He said he wouldn’t abandon his philosophy about the style of play - but he has. Spurs look unsure how they are expected to play.
The only way to tackle Liverpool at Anfield with a threadbare defence is to play to the team’s strengths and take the game to them. Try to put them under pressure and break their rhythm. But Spurs never threatened.

On another more positive note, I genuinely think we have a good chance of winning the europa. With all the decent prem teams out of the equation, we have a chance of doing alright against teams that are no where near as good as what we face on a weekly basis.

I absolutely agree, it's important to go there and play 11 players from the start.

I’d recommend that your midfield turns up. And it’s preferable that one of said midfielders doesn’t give the ball away in a goal scoring position.

We're outsiders, but we're there, and we're not a **** team.

You’ll give them more of a game than us, that’s for sure. Mind you, we’re struggling against most premier league teams at the moment.
Mediocre Europa sides are our only hope this season.

Based on what?

There’s some decent teams left in it and spurs haven’t shown anything to suggest they can win it
