Loads of content going out on him from Wycombe, good to see he always comes across well would love to see him get them promoted
Even more glowing than we had previously thought. What a blow for us. Hopefully we find someone to step into his place.
I remember some awful stuff being posted about him last season when we were on the awful run. He's clearly very well respected by coaches and players alike. Hope he does well
Well said,Luke. You're one of us now and you epitomise everything special and good about this wonderful club. The very best of luck to Doddsy!
The Dodds effect... Sunderland echo picking up on it now.... https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...-mike-dodds-exit-to-wycombe-wanderers-5036099
No doubt Dodds is a loss because of his knowledge, but I don't agree with Bennett. If RLB really doesn't know how to change things in a game he probably shouldn't be a head coach and I'm sure that would have been picked up in our scouting of the bloke. We started the season very well, have been found out a bit and RLB is finding out how hard this league is and how you have to adjust quickly. Its a new country and a new league for him, this is the risk you take with a young foreign manager. He hasn't been helped by injuries and I think we have been either really unlucky or took too many risks on some players in the transfer market.
As already posted on another thread, I'm happy for the club to give RLB next season and then review from there.
I'd imagine the same folk who were raging that Dodds & Proctor had been "forced" upon RLB because they were Speakman's "yes men" are the same ones now blaming our slump in form on Dodds leaving.
