Didn't realise they were so high in league 1. Just seen videos and photos of his first day he is just like he was in all the videos and that here. Arms around players etc... Hope it works out for him but I being everyone's mate might not work as much as the main bloke!
Good luck to the bloke. I don't see that he has the presence to make it as the top guy but he has clearly been instrumental in developing Jobe and our young lads. He goes with my best wishes.
Well said Fell Dodds has been instrumental in the massive progress we have made. Going from a club with a scattershot plan of signing average, older players to developing young talent and helping them to flourish. It is easy to see the high regard that the squad have for him. He has worked hand in hand with Speakman and never dissented - even when the wheels were falling off last season. To come back from that blip and seamlessly carry on shows the measure of the man. Good luck Doddsy. I'll be watching Wycombe and hoping for success.
Clearly loved by the players and trusted by every head coach, stepped in without thinking twice to help us out when needed and never shirked away. He is has been a huge asset to the club and his hard work and dedication has paid off with a decent head coach job, I hope he takes Wycombe up. Thanks for your dedication to the job and the fantastic job you done developing the young lads, Jobe will earn the club a tidy sum and Dodds should take a lot of credit for that !
Sad he’s leaving as he’s clearly a massive part of the set up, but can’t blame him for taking the chance and I hope he does really well. As said earlier, the sign of his quality as a coach and man is the way the players respond to him in those behind the scene videos. You see it especially with new lads where he’s there with his arm around them, welcoming them in. He won’t be easy to replace.

There is a comment top right from a player saying he is the best thing to happen to the club in that players 8 years there. Rigg do we reckon. Imagine how that makes Dodds feel!

Could be any one of the players. But you're right, must bring a lump to the throat and dust in the eyes when he read it. Wonder if started double guessing his decision. I really hope it works out for him but we all know that being the top bloke is a cut throat business
