It is now I’ve looked again but it’s an official one with 350k followers, so I’m gonna say gtfi now I can go to bed
Lost possibly the best keeper in the division after Trafford and Cooper though. Did Fellowes go too? Deal was reported as agreed.
I think this window was probably the hardest one Speakman and co have had to deal with. We've got a team that's fighting for automatic promotion with the first team practically picking itself apart from a couple of positions. Yes Mundle and Watson are coming back from injury as is Browne and we have some players on the bench that were not going to be involved which the club needed to move on. And for any players to come in they had to be seriously a step up to what we have - Le Fee comes under that banner but who would be replaced in the team in other positions? Would Isidor be pushed to the bench for any striker brought in? Neil? Jobe? Rigg? IMO any further additions would be sitting on the bench and that's a hard argument to sell to any player we talk to.
Tbh. Apart from a right winger I think that’s a solid 9/10 window they’ve evidently tried for one but January is a hard window to navigate we’ve tied Isidor down, brought in striker depth (which also allows Mayenda to cover the wings if we’re desperate), kept Watson and everyone else and signed le fee. im ****ing delighted
That's a quality addition. Very happy with the window. Could've perhaps added another winger or a fullback but to add a player like Le Fee, an exciting prospect like Danns and signing Isidor on a permanent while retaining all of your top end players and removing some dead wood it can't be viewed as anything other than a success.
If Mundle and Watson are back soon then I think Roberts, Mayenda and Poveda is enough on right side. My only real worry is full back where I think we’re short on both sides. A Revelliere style free agent that could play either side would be most welcome.
Loved how he soaked up the love from the fans after the Burnley misses, everyone could see he needed it and he made no secret of it. His connection with the fans is immense.
