think it’s hard to recruit for the long term in January, especially when not sure what division we’ll be in next season
I am partially expecting to hear about a couple of deals pre-agreed for summer for young lads who couldnt join yet
I wonder why we couldn’t agree a deal to sell and loan back. Maybe Brighton have too many loans (I’m sure I read there’s a rule for how many clubs can loan out now)
Dans signing is an interesting one think he would be a great option to bring off the bench but unless Isidor gets injured that’s where he will be From his point of view at this stage in his career the only reason to go on loan would be to play games not sit on the bench wouldn’t be surprised if he is not keen
I would value Wilson at upwards of £15m. We signed him on Saturday for just over £3m. It’s absolutely obscene.
We talk about his weaknesses, but by God he is lethal in behind and on the ball, he's a sound finisher too despite what people say. If he was good with his back to goal ya talking 40 million quid these days, he's a steal.
I think Keef is stuck outside Newcastle's empty training ground currently. Hopefully he takes refuge in one of bins they use for ice baths.
Thing is mate, I think he can work on his weaknesses. He has the potential to be a properly serious player, and he’s already brilliant as it is.
Smith & Copley both suggesting any announcements tomorrow. They’ve probably been briefed, think it’s safe to go to bed!
Now that he's 100% staying on a permanent I am absolutely fine with his weaknesses. His scope to improve is huge. The way he's bounced back after the penalties is unbelievable. 2 goals and one that should've stood. Top class.
Without a doubt. Actually think he’ll go in the summer if we don’t go up. Got all the attributes to succeed at the top.
That finish tonight isn't far of the best striker's finish I've ever seen. Just outrageously confident to just send the keeper to the ground and wander around him. Reminded me of Ali putting Liston on the floor and just stepping over him.
