JHT hinted that it would be one or the other in the Pinkun. It's hard to know which we wanted more, but we'll never know now. Ruairi will take Hills' place on the bench now that Brad has gone out on loan to Stockport. A reasonable January window, all things considered. I thought we were done for the night… We are apparently trying to sign Jacob Wright from Man City. 19 year old DM. Deal looks likely to be a loan with buy option. Swansea were close to signing him but that deal looks like it has collapsed.
A quick scan of the Brighton twitter announcement shows a lot of praise for McConville. Lots of BHA fans puzzled by the move given his potential for first team action.
Yes I saw that as well which is hopeful for us. Brighton have just signed Cashin from Derby for £9m so that would be another player ahead of him in the pathway to first team football

We have signed five players in this window, the oldest being 21 (Jurasek). Two of them, Domeraki and McConville, being CB's, a winger, a striker (Dylan Jones), and that rarest of beasts, a DM. We now have three Irish CB's. Duffy, McConville and Adeboyega.
Did you include Dobbin the group above? With Sainz nearly back, Nunez on the mend and Sorensen back up to speed we're got amazing potential in midfield with others to return too. Reinforcements at CB a big plus too despite off loading some serious wages. All in all a pretty good window.
Players leaving, who contributed little this season, saved around £5m in wages with those coming in on much lower wages. Dobbin has already contributed to our attack and McConville now backs up Duffy with Hills able to get more experience on loan. Wright and Domeracki add options in midfield and Slimane is now our player. Looking ahead, the Pinkun comments: "Norwich now embark on a run of seven games - five of which are at Carrow Road - that feel like a real period of opportunity to amass points and create a momentum. With a bolstered squad, returning options and a league table that is beginning to present a window of opportunity, there is a cautious optimism building that a play-off push can be possible this season."
