According to reports. No club tells you who they are and aren’t bidding for. Only levy, Lange, munn and Ange would know that rather than whoever ‘sources report’ is. Doesn’t make sense why they would bid for him now on the last day of the window. These are the deals you go for early if you want the player. It’s not like guehi needs much scouting so if you want him, bid early and then if it’s serious, you have the whole window to negotiate.
Don’t see the problem with this and can never understand the hate. Can’t imagine the stadium twitter account or people organising these concerts have much to do with buying players or the team. Not like they have Ange selling tickets and son behind the bar.
I don’t have a problem with it in general. But when the squad is on its knees and fans are unimpressed with the results of the football team, as well as not a lot being done to address it, it’s pretty poor timing. Especially as it cements the views from many that the club cares more about this sort of thing than the very thing it started as, a football club.
But when we sign a player there’s loads of tweets and things about it. I would assume the people organising these concerts and the stadium twitter account do have those type of things as higher priority than who the club is buying. If it came directly from Lange or someone then I could see why people have a problem. Tired of every little thing the club does being used as a stick to beat it with. These concerts enable us to spend more money in the transfer market so need to promote it as if we don’t sell tickets then artists will stop coming.
as I said, I don’t have a problem with these announcements. Just trying to play devils advocate. Timing could be better.
I assume at some point over the past 24 hours Kane and Dier tied him to a chair with a sack over his head and played McNamara's Band at full volume until he caved.
That sound you can hear is the sound of those with Levy Derangement Syndrome deleting their tweets and Reddit posts PDQ
Proper bolt from the blue that one! Something to get excited about even though it’s frustrating that these moves are happening so late in the window.
Didn't you hear? Levy called up Beyonce and told her we needed an announcement today Because it's not like Beyonce has any say on her tour dates or anything...
In Tel's case, I think he only informed Bayern of his decision to leave around a week ago, and we were on the case almost immediately. But bringing in defensive cover 4 weeks into the window is inexcusable.
Excuse my ignorance but is Tel any good? I watch very little European football, I gather that he is quick and plays mainly from the left, so he is an upgrade on Werner, but then again that's not that hard, do we expect him to be a starter in a front 3?
