It almost hurts to think about it knowing it might not happen.

 

Possible that he's travelling as they want him there for a medical in case we do reach an agreement? I mean it feels certain he's going, but him travelling doesn't necessarily mean the deal is agreed. He wouldn't be in the squad today anyway

 

The rest of the league must be looking at us trying to get Adingra and be totally jealous! That would be an unbelievable bit of business for this league. Hope it comes off but I still have my reservations cos it doesn't seem to be a great deal for Brighton.

 

Only reason they might see it as a great deal is if they really, really want Watson and see it as the price they have to pay.

And I think they really, really want Watson.

I think the harder hurdle will be convincing Adingra.

I work with a Brighton fan. He's basically said he'd be stunned if they let Adingra go, especially to a Championship side

 

Don't see how that's a change of tone, personally. He said before we want Adingra if Tommy goes, now he's saying we want Adingra... Nothing's changed?

 

I was just saying (well texting) to my lad that Sunderland AFC are a completely different animal to the one we grew up with. I’m confident that the hierarchy know what they’re doing and actually have a plan going forward. It’s great times to be a Sunderland supporter and long may it continue.
