Stand by for a flurry of complaints now that you've chased him off the board ...

    Buzzing.

Work rate, great. Pressing, great. Finishing, great. Decent in the air and can create chances for himself.

Top signing. Hope he gets plenty of game time.

I'll tell you right now he'll get less bullied than mayenda does, he will absolutely make an instant impact even if its just allowing isidor to not have to play 90 minutes every week. He'll do well, cheer up marra

IMO he's more likely to be able to make an immediate impact than a foreign incoming.

Hopefully has an impact like the Simms signing, who actually complemented Stewart for the limited time they had on the pitch together as well as give competition/back up. Unless we have the worst injury luck ever, we will have a solid striker to lead the line for the rest of the season.

Not to be underestimated. Wilson runs his bollocks off and is absolutely blowing out his arse by the time he’s subbed/90.

One of the many things I love about Wilson is work rate.

Keeping him fresh is vital, and massive, for the run in.

He's a talented lad who is highly rated by an elite club. However, he hasn't played a hell of a lot of football this season (Ogunsuyi has a lot more minutes on a pitch this term). I reckon he's an extra body and anything else is a bonus. And for me, that's absolutely fine. I didn't want us to spend £10m on Cannon as I don't think he's better than Isidor. I'm not all that convinced that he'll end up better than Mayenda. We basically just need a body who can sit on the bench and perhaps make an impact (which due to his pace and physicality, Danns may well be able to do). For me, it's also important that he ISN'T a long term commitment. We just need a little help while we find out what we have with Ogunsuyi and Abdullahi.

He’d played 22 minutes of football this season before they gave him a run out at PSV when they left about 12 players home mate. Bit of a stretch but I get the point you’re making :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Again there’s no denying he will be a good player Liverpool clearly rate him to have him training with the first team but it’s ok for people to say they don’t think he’s going to make much of an impact because in reality he’s not starting over Isidor.

this is what people fail to grasp.

the better players always come available at the end of the window, because clubs are reluctant to let them go until they have suitable squad depth. Happened for years but yet people still get aggitated because we haven’t signed four by the 2nd of January.

    always found it wild.

I'm still holding out for Jack Clarke. I know no journalist has come close to mentioning it. Its all very quiet with him.

I just think at about 5pm Ipswich might give the go ahead.

As a note of caution, I do think that Danns getting a few minutes in very dead cup games is doing an awful lot of heavy lifting. When you look at their youth records, Trey is absolutely comparable - and he's only a year younger.

I get all that, but he’s not being brought in as number 9.

He’s clearly further down the line than Trey, Wilson has been pretty bulletproof in terms of missing games, and the lad is highly rated by a club walking the PL.

Nobody was sending us their top scorer or established first 11 player, so this is a good grab.

stats-wise I'd agree. But from watching both, Danns is a clear level above at the moment. Trey needs that extra year Danns has on him. Think he could be an asset next season but not this.

Spot on, Danns has that physicality needed to play senior football in the championship

Trey still needs to work on that, Trey is a great prospect but from what I've seen Danns is on a different level currently

He is exactly what I want an impact player to be, pace power and energy. Isidor will start most games but this lad is a cracking compliment to him and Mayenda
