Really happy with danns. Young, physical pace, will be raring to go and not green around the ears. Will have an impact straight away good bit of business if we get him.
I see him as bench then on at 70 minutes as a two with Isidor. We can always take off Roberts and move Mayenda to that wing with Danns on the other side. That would take some stopping imo, especially if we're pushing for an equaliser/winner ... ... whatever the case the entire front line will be adaptable and unpredictable, no bad thing imo.
This is the perfect example of some of our 'fans' desperate to be negative and have the obsession for depression before a player has even kicked a ball. The fact we are getting a very highly rated player in Danns ans people are saying he won't impact the team when he is lauded at top of the league Liverpool really sums up some of the desperation some want to see us fail. Yet can't name a player they would have instead
I think It'll be difficult to improve our first eleven within budget. We could maybe improve on Roberts. I think keeping our first eleven and improving our bench is priority.
Happy with Danns, just hope he’s not coming in with anything in the loan agreement guaranteeing him so many starts etc. Which is the main concern for me, definitely brings something difffent to the fold though.
Pretended I didn’t care and was sound then took the day off do can track it all day. Also took tomorrow off in case alcohol is needed for this combined with Boro game. Ha’waaaay the Edwards
We didn’t need a starting striker. We needed rotation. As far as prem loans go not many better than Danns
Much much happier with Danns than a player coming from abroad. They're coming for 16-19 matches so need to be able to impact immediately with little settling time. Obviously there's a risk with that for any player, but you have to think its much reduced for a player used to English football.
If Danns is the forward on what I assume is a cheaper loan, I wonder if our eggs are in the winger basket? do feel like we need 1
Yeh I hope I'm not counting chickens but that one seems as good as done. The Athletic and The Times' Liverpool correspondants both saying its expected to happen. That's as good as signed, for me. Which is nice that its happened nice and early today. Pressure completely off. Now its all about seeing if Tommy goes and any bonus wingers come in.
