1-0! Odegaard! Akanji tries to play out the back and loses the ball, gets dispossessed by Trossard, Rice intercepts the loose ball, plays it into Havertz and he squares it across to Odegaard who taps it home. Top start.
Havertz has just missed an unbelievable chance. City are starting to get into the game and that was a big opportunity, as Ortega gifted us the ball to get a 2nd, and he's totally botched it. That's a horrendous miss. That could be so crucial.
HT. 1-0. We deserve to be winning, but it's frustrating we haven't extended our lead. City have looked dangerous on occasion, and have threatened, but we've largely kept them at bay and limited them to very few chances. They started to come alive toward the end of the half. We're just not a ruthless enough side. This game should have been put to bed already and we've not been clinical enough.
FT. 5-1. Wow, what an unreal second half performance. Was fearing the worst after Haaland equalised, but we took it up a notch and absolutely battered them from that point. Felt like we refused to be beaten by them today. And it's been a while since we've walloped a big team, and it couldn't happen to a nicer club. Phenomenal result and performance. Get in.
What a performance. Lewis Skelly was superb - and I have to say one of Thomas Parteys best ever performances in an Arsenal shirt. 2nd half we were sensational.
