Given Sports Republics general football knowledge it's safe to assume that he's probably better. Another bizarre call by our overlords. Roll up roll up, to the big Southampton fc sale. Everything at knock down prices. We don't care what league we're in as long as we're turning a profit. Pricks.
I dunno. Feels like a wait and see one. There’s a disconnect it seems between what Sam Amo has actually shown with what we’d like him to be.
At the end of the day we can't let a player hold the club to ransom. If he feels he should be playing in the first team and we don't, then goodbye and good luck.
It not like we have had a team (management) with good judgement over the last two years. This just screams of another **** up
We don’t know what goes on behind the scenes. Dibling has had his chance and seemingly won’t sign a new contract, Sam hasn’t and he seemingly won’t sign a new contract either. no one wants to be here and that’s the biggest problem
Ah, how ****ing predictable. Losing yet another young talent. Well done Sport Republic, well ****ing done. ****s.
This is not on SR. More on the managers who haven't played him. But of course, SR are to blame for everything that people don't agree with.
They're the ****ing owners who have sanctioned the sale, of course its on them Yes, SAA should've been given more of a chance by RM (Juric has ignored him, probably knowing something was coming as SAA has been training on his own for a while) so of course that hasn't helped and he probably feels left behind ... but his pathway has essentially been blocked by the **** that SR have signed. Let's face it, under SR we just can't keep hold of younger players. It's so damn frustrating for a club that prides itself on that youth pathway that we keep losing these players. And before you mention Dibling, he's an incredibly special talent and even he doesn't want to sign a new contract.
Not sure why everyone is having kittens on this one. Much like Meghoma before, I just suspect he’s not as good as people seem to want him to be.
We need to find some young talents who can play at a high Championship/bottom half prem level at 17, but be no better so nobody bigger than us wants them. Sounds easy, ****ing **** scouts can’t find any like that.
And he will go for free next summer. What would the point in keeping him be if we can get £8m now. £8m is big money in the championship too.
I’m frustrated rather than having kittens. These kids are not getting the chances they should have done and can only be due to the dross (like bbd) brought in to get in their way. Whenever we have had a fleeting glimpse they have looked really good. I include RM last year not playing Dibling. It was so clear just from the Watford FA cup game how good the likes of Meghoma, Dibling and SAA were but they were alledgedly not ready. What garbage. We would have got automatics if he had trusted Dibling
I get what you’re saying, but two managers running clearly don’t fancy SAA for some reason, he’s running his contract down too, and it’s not like a PL team is coming in for him. So is he really any good? I don’t know the answer there, but we can only wait and see, I guess.
This. 100% this. Then you think about the likes of Doyle and Ballard as well. Okay, Ballard is still officially here, but he's not been given a chance. Further down the age groups you've lost the likes of Alleyne, Miles & Rodriguez all cos SR cut the youth wage structure. We lost Dibling already under SR, and we were lucky he came back. Rumours are he was miffed he didn't get much opportunity last season For a club that is so famed, and prides itself on its youth reputation, it is just so frustrating to see these talented young lads not given chances they deserve. Particularly when you see dross like Fraser, Sulemana (last season) and BBD stinking out the team
