No, we're not ... ... just one bit of flotsam in an endless sea of rumours, driftwood and a bloke on a raft shouting 'Wilson!!!'
I would think any incomings should be seen an an upgrade on what we have right now.... Not sure Willock fits that description... Yet I trust out recruitment team
also that Cardiff side yesterday started with two wingers and replaced them both and still Willock didn’t get on.
Re. Chris Willock. Cardiff fans very unhappy with his lack of effort, feel he seems to lack interest but has moments of quality. Some say he has lost his confidence
Oh aye. However I’d guess that it’d be runouts at the end of games. I don’t expect he’ll start and I’d say he’d be behind Mayenda, Rigg and whoever the new striker is as a game changer. Given RLBs lack of sub use I’d be putting my money on him making a Connolly sized impact.
I don’t think we’re after Willock. Made some sense in summer but no point signing him permanently when he’d be surplus to requirements by summer even if we’re not promoted and would have a fee attached. Think we’d have kept Aouchiche or even give Bennette a few minutes ahead of Willock.
Looking at Willock's recent seasons, his best one was in 21/22 with QPR. 7 goals and 11 assists in 35 games. I'd have some of that. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/chr...verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=GB2&pos=&trainer_id=
