Don’t believe that for a second re Mundle minds he’s just broke in and evidently loves it here. Unless something has happened family wise

regarding Rowe, I can see us in for him or Clarke when Watson goes

But he stayed and a lot of water has gone under the bridge since then.

I get he might want to go, seems madness to me as he will get more game time here than Brighton, but the money they are offering him is probably too good to turn down.

The rumours of him wanting to go and refusing to sign a contract started yesterday and now they are being repeated all over and they may well just be idle speculation.

Na he’s been stuck in a stalemate for a while regarding contract, but it’s coming to light more now because of this

I liked Rowe at Norwich so would be pleased with him, might be wrong but sure he plays more on the left than right, would be gutted if that’s true about mundle

Rowe would make sense as Marseille want rid. He’d be a good signing.

Shame if it’s true about Mundle.

    Nah I haven't heard anything

Would be strange selling Watson if they know they'll have to sell Mundle in the summer. Id be picking Watson ahead of Mundle if that was the case and therefore more likely to keep Watson happy

Rowe will be a complicated deal to get done, we would need Marseille to sign him and then loan him to us. He's only on loan there, they do have a fee agreed, we would need them to activate it tho

Funny I’m same m8, know close family member v well, and her feedback was he was otm here, treat well, great development, long term saw his future here, but I suppose that’s the model for you, and how it works for both us, the club, and the individual assets, things change I suppose.

Think he knows the natives will get restless if they bottle a chance of promotion again

Exactly, how true the reports are I'm not so sure bit Watson is supposed to want to leave as we can't Guarantee him game time in front of Mundle.
That wouldn't be the case is Mundle wanted away in the summer

I’d heard similar things, but that when it came down to contract talks they were pretty far apart

Good luck to Dodds. Deserves a shot somewhere.

Hate to see the coaching setup disrupted this point in the season though. Hope it doesnt bite us on the arse. It could imo.

    nope he certainly doesnt

we can certainly improve, boro have brought a couple in, sheff united and burnley with 3 pushing for 4

    we can also certainly improve

we are short a full back deputy, alese out for the reason, if hume and cirkin get a knock its hjelde or onien

with aouchiche gone and potentially watson leaving the only left mid option we have is mundle, who is on the back of a big injury really, dont give me this le fee stuff. to me its crazy to have signed him and for him not to be central. so we need something there

we've let rusyn and connolly go, who regular made the bench so clearly need an option there

so for me that's 3 players purely for depth and players the gaffer can trust (re Substitutions)

thats before we even consider signings that actually improve us immediately and walk into the side, example a second forward and a winger.

if the window closed now i think we are short at least one player who can add immediate value

Of course it is. Everything on here in the last 48 hours has been speculation. People getting themselves into a state about rumour after rumour....some of it with a bit of a basis, most of it utter nonsense.
By late tomorrow night it'll all be over and we'll still have a very good young side, playing exciting football,a bright future, with excellent coaching and very astute management leadership.
A good performance in Smogland, and Tuesday will be fab.

Aye. We have Wilson and Mayenda, Danns would fit the bill to offer that other option and should we get an injury. That would be enough.
