Of course he is. He's been a coach for years and a head coach for 5 minutes. He deserves the opportunity to get himself on the ladder and learn the job.
Maybe it's sour grapes but if Watson, at 18, wants to leave us during his breakout season when we are on the cusp of a run in in which we fight for promotion to the Premier League, I don't want him near the club and will be happy to see any money reinvested into the squad.
Yeah I realise that now after catching up a bit So we’d need to find another 6 in this situation where we don’t go up can’t see Neil waiting another year
People don't know the true facts there's a major reason Tommy wants away and you can't blame him at his age.
If that's true and it is a big if. He's 18. He can **** right off. He hasn't earned the guaranteed start.
Kind of disagree. Easy us being biased about SAFC and tbf we defo are the place to be for young players but Brighton give opportunities and Watson will see it as a more likely way to being a prem footballer than staying at us currently. No guarantees it’s the right move but wouldnt say it’s a silly one
Yeh I don’t blame Watson for thinking it’s a good move. I just think he’ll regret it. And I’m less bothered about him going as a result.
He wanted guarantees of starting over mundle to sign a new deal by the sounds mate. I trust that Bradley too he’s been right about a lot of things
He has been right yeah, not sure id believe he knows that level of detail that Watson wants starting over mundle but I’m just a fan out of the loop. I agree it would be silly he demand that if true, mundle has proven way more and Watson is only 18. But don’t think a move to Brighton is silly, hope he stays btw
What Id say about Watson is for me he’s at least 2 years away from being a premier league player, and that’s likely to slow down playing in PL2 rather than championship. Think he’d have been better served staying here before getting a move sooner.
