Two today was enough to beat us....This after you said they were woeful last week....You really don't have a fecking clue! Now you reckon we'll win at Burnley....Might sneak a draw, but a win is a massive ask. If we do I'll be first to come on here, but not before the game..
After today's disappointment (understatement, but still why am I surprised) given our week off and the next few games, i reckon we will be entrenched back in the bottom 3 by the end of this month. Sheff U was one of those bizarre one offs that football throws up now and then, highly unlikely to be repeated at Burnley. Can't see us getting much v Norwich or Sunderland either. Realistically I just hope we're not too far adrift for what looks like a massive month for us in March. Make no mistake, as enjoyable as last Friday was, they are one offs and we are in seriously deep **** still, which could well look a heck of a lot worse during this month before it hopefully looks better.
Told ya. There is no reason to think we will streak away. That div yesterday ranting about the playoffs, FFS.
Except sheff utd was already a repeat of a big win at Blackburn, another top 6 club who at the time were in great form..
i watched the stoke v oxford match and stoke were woeful, the only reason they didnt lose is because their keeper made a worldie AND oxford hit the bar with an open goal that has nothing to do with our game against stoke, we'd struggle to beat barrow at home
Yeah, I know! But isn't this the likely case? Hard to see it panning out differently given we miss next week's round of games, then have Burnley, Norwich and Sunderland to play! Cardiff at home end of month is a massive game. Good job our home form is .... err ... hang on ..... Edit: my mistake, it's Cardiff away of course #phew
Last seasons January investment saw us miss out on the Play Offs... Lets just all pray that this January investment gets a different result...
It meant, last season we aimed for something and missed it, this season the aim is to stay up... but then someone had to decide to twist it for posts sake.
Our home form is clearly terrible, but our away form isn't and Burnley, Sunderland and Cardiff are all away games. You can to be a negative or a positive person, I find those that are the latter are normally happier people.
