I actually can’t believe we’ve lost that. For the first 30 minutes of the first half, I thought we were really good and was convinced we’d go on to score a second and third. We heaped on pressure and they couldn’t deal with it. Every time we got the ball we looked to get forward and create a chance. They got back into it toward the end of the second half and scored a goal which Drameh needs to be doing miles better with. The concerning thing for me was the players looked so glum and downtrodden when Stoke equalised. Not necessarily a lack of fight but any confidence we had for the first 30 minutes just disappeared. I’ve got to say, the atmosphere was atrocious even when we were 1-0 up. I think @PLT is right and that our players must dread playing at home. Even when we’re winning, it’s so depressing.
Absolutely sick to death of walking out the ground after yet another defeat at home, it’s so depressing.
He’d nicked the ball was clearly taken out. Tough angle for the ref in fairness but was clear as day to me in E7
And his driving runs with the ball and balls into the box late. Far better than drameh, Pandur, Joseph, Jacob to name a few.
How predictable was that, I’d rather we just lost to Sheff United and win today like a ****ing normal club for once .. what are latest play off odds?
They could have had 3 or 4, we could have had 3 or 4, midfield was too open today, lacked someone to take control. When they scored, you could see it coming for both goals, we were just giving them the ground!
Had enough chances to win 3 games. Came up against a **** team with the best goalkeeper in the football league and they ****housed their way to victory. The referee gave me PTSD. He wasted about 10 minutes himself. Missed every shirt pull, every obstruction, fell for every dive and ****house tactic. A complete ****. The standard is atrocious.
Covid was a blessing in disguise during that League One promotion season. I’m not convinced we would’ve won the league or even achieved promotion if fans could attend games. I’m convinced the reason for our home form for several years now is 90% psychological and 10% the ****ty pitch.
I bet Robbins couldnt believe the change in our starting 11. I'm hoping that Crooks was a l'ooking after his hamstring', because he's the presence we dont have.
Said this, after the run of 3 back to back defeats absolutely no chance we’d have come back from that
"How **** must you be we're winning away" I can guarantee you're away form is nowhere near what we've had to put up with at home for the last few years. **** off
