What a day that was...leave Swansea at 4.07am checked my watch in the gloom..had a tidy breakfast in Thetford en route getting to the ground by 11.50am looking forward to a good match winning performance. Unfortunately though we were winning the possession stats yet again they were mostly sideways and backwards in our half.Backs against the wall after they scored using pace. What is that you ask? Good equalising goal from the Tenby Messi with our first and only real attack and then it went downhill. Players and manager didnt get many again. Got home by 9pm after a very long day only spoiled by the pathetic excuse for another poor away perfomance. ....Cannot say onwards and upwards at the moment.
I’m told that Coleman has stated that they have the cash available to spend but are constrained from spending (much?) by FFP rules …
The board need to get rid of LW now and perhaps let Sheehan take care of the squad after all there are some decent players in there somewhere.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Coleman was not in attendance given today’s rumours re Grimes. I’m told, however, that Grimes’ transfer is virtually a done deal….
For Grimes' sake I hope it is " a done deal ". He has been constantly vilified here by the usual suspects, and his future clearly lies elsewhere. The " Johnny know it all's " strike again. I'll drive him to Coventry, if needed. Good luck Matt.
