I don't know what the instructions were at half time, but it appeared to me they thought they could just manage a 1 goal lead. Howe waited far too long to change things and in fact until they scored Awful that second half.. Lost to the better team.

We’re such a strange team. We went on a great run, granted. Can’t take that away from us. But why are we so inconsistent? People probably think of Newcastle and can’t work out if we’re brilliant or utter ****. There’s never any inbetween. Any man and his dog can see this team needs some sort of refreshment, why not a loan until the end of the season? How can that be so bad in terms of PSR? Seems to happen on repeat for us. "Oh, a chance to set a new club record" - defeat. "Oh, a chance to go into the top 4" - defeat. "Oh, a chance to win the league cup" - defeat. We've had so many opportunities to really put in a statement campaign, such a shame.

It's hard not to criticise Howe Today... The game changed dramatically within seconds of the 2nd half, he did nothing until it was too late...the actual issues on the pitch were never addressed and his changes were poor. Oh Well... Wednesday is the one

Agree CB was the key area today.. Schar just strolling around pinging long balls most of which giving the ball away and burn was all over the pitch like he owns the club. Some of these players are not good enough but it's all we've got.
And this where you become a complete tool, I'm just talking about the actual facts that have happened whereas you have just decided we're going out the league cup. Also despite us winning 10 of the last 12 games, you only mention the Bromley match in that run.
We are where we are because Villa, Man U and Spurs are struggling for a variety of reasons. Thankfully that's the case, but even then we'll end this round 6th and 1 point ahead of B'mth. In my opinion, that isn't "doing very well".
