Probably true. Defence hasn't been the immediate priority arguably, but the whole back line needs improving. Heroic performances like last Friday mask the reality. It's not just the defending but also the way we build with the ball, overlapping in attack, delivery, etc. I'm sure it will be addressed in summer.
Disappointed there wasn’t a guard of honour to bring Barry on to the pitch. Hopefully he’ll do a lap of honour around after the game instead.
Johansen is insanely good. Hopefully Stoke go down and we can get him off them. Cannot fathom why we didn’t try to get him in the summer.
Fully agree, I thought half the Championship would have gone for him when Rotherham went down, I think Stoke paid less than £1M for him as well.
