Excellent news think this lad brings so much both on and off the pitch. Exactly the kind of character we need at the club

Watching Chris Wood for Forrest They play some great football and don't just lump it up to him but he adds such a great option and threat really ties up the defenders. I think that sort of player leading the line for us with the likes of Isidor or Mayenda playing off him would transform our team

Kids sent a heartfelt 2 page message to the Zenit fans, in Russian.

A club he wasn’t with for long. He’s a class act mate.

And hopefully people will drop this daft obsession that Isidor is a winger who could play up front in an emergency ...

... he could go on to be a Sunderland legend.

We had next to no expectation on him, he’s cost pennies and he’s about to hit double figures half way through a season mate, a first season.

He has been brilliant business. Absolutely scope to improve but that makes the deal even better, surely?

I guarantee we could double money on him at least end of season.

Comfortably we could get double our money. He has lightning pace coupled with skill and an eye for goal.

How we got him for under 4 million is staggering

Aye. I know you weren’t slating him or owt mate, we just don’t need to put these facets on the positives.

    We are growing, not grown.

As far as I was aware it was the PL who stopped clubs signing players from Russian clubs and the EFL is a separate entity. Might be incorrect on that like sure someone will have an actual answer not a stab in the dark :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Money doesn’t go to Zenit as far as I’ve seen.
Gets held in a trust until the sanctions are over.
