We had next to no expectation on him, he’s cost pennies and he’s about to hit double figures half way through a season mate, a first season. He has been brilliant business. Absolutely scope to improve but that makes the deal even better, surely? I guarantee we could double money on him at least end of season.

As far as I was aware it was the PL who stopped clubs signing players from Russian clubs and the EFL is a separate entity. Might be incorrect on that like sure someone will have an actual answer not a stab in the dark
