A defo second yellow for Ross, no arguments; however, it should have been a foul and yellow to the Oxford player 10 secs earlier, which had it been given wouldn’t have allowed Ross to make such a rash challenge
I suppose with just 9 men at the end a draw away from home should be regarded as a positive but I thought the game was marred by some shocking decisions by the referee and that led to a somewhat tame match. For me Armstrong wanders around like a lost sheep looking like he isn't interested but in fairness to him his challenging led to our superb world class goal from an ex-Oxford player in Sykes. We now have to deal with 2 players lost for the next match or matches and I suspect we don't have the back-up power off the bench to deal with that shortage but only time will tell. Onwards and upwards I guess.
Norwich and Plymouth did their parts! BEEN OUT ALL MORNING what a unhappy return........... and 2 sendings off ... at least 2 other players get to start! next time
Yep, caused problems and won the free kick for the goal. Sick of saying it, he needs a striker alongside him if we are to see the best from him, imo.
Earthy should have scored, he runs around a lot but rarely gets a challenge in, I’m afraid he flatters to deceive
A point away from home is a decent result Looking at the table now there are at least 10 if not up to 13 teams chasing the final 2 Playoff spots !
