Hurrah we won, not the most pretty of victories, but after the sending off Watford were really up for it.

Another plus is Plymouth taking the victory against West Brom, only 2 points from 6th place now. Middlesbrough have a game in hand, but that's against Sunderland. Sheffield Wednesday could go ahead of us if they win Vs Luton
I thought Watford played really well, especially with 10men but their character let them down, lost their heads and put in too many fouls. Ref had an overall good game, didn’t get everything right but at least gave himself time to make the big decisions. Watford should have been down to 9, but he got both the Watford penalty ‘attempts’ correct. Fans were fantastic all game! Anaway win and a clean sheet, players kept their heads well against some robust challenges. Wish we had gone for it a bit more in the second half but equally needed to get a result away.
Chakvetadze is a really impressive player, he’s looked good everytime we’ve played them. Also thought the 21year old CB Amankwah was good
Name is Abankwah, not Amankwah. He certainly gave the Sarge short shrift when Josh was contesting a through ball with him early on -- shouldered Sargent aside and then denied him any touch on the ball while seeing it out for a goal kick. Reminded me of Hanley in his prime.
