By Wilson Isidor Share Dear Sunderland fans, My new home is here now. My family and I are really happy about it. We are in a good city around amazing people. This will only want to make me and my family reach the top with you. Everything is perfect. This is a perfect match for me. Off the pitch, on the pitch. I can say that this is a match made in heaven. I am really happy. I felt like I was in heaven when I was on the plane over here from Russia. I felt the emotion from you, the club and the city. I always knew this would work because I am an affectionate person. When I feel the love and appreciation, I perform. “ I knew that you could always give love to the players. This is what has made me perform. Wilson Isidor My first game at Sunderland was against Portsmouth. I heard before what you as supporters were like but when I saw it from the pitch… that was amazing. It was an away game and I said in my mind, I really have to make you scream my name. When that came for the first time when I scored at home against Derby County, it was amazing. It felt like one big shot of adrenaline. I want to make you scream my name all weekend for every game. You have always supported me from the beginning, no matter what happened. I had one period without scoring, but you never stopped giving me the support. You are just crazy! We know what we want, we’ve got the quality. The objective is to go up. Every day in training, I see people working 100% towards it. No one is cheating on their ambition and that is really cool. I am like that as a person. I want to win all the time and compete with the best. I hope we can make it for you fans because you deserve it. I want to create new memories for end of the season, with a good present for you all. Thank you all for your love and backing. Ha’way the Lads! Wilson Wilson Isidor: Here to stay
In general I agree with comments about it doesn’t really matter what players say about their clubs, they don’t really have the loyalty and will push to leave when it suits them, ultimately players rarely have loyalties to the teams they play for. But there’s no doubt in my mind we have a remit with these younger players that the characters and personalities have to be right for us to do the deal. Listen to the way jobe and Wilson talk, to me it’s clear they buy into the club and the area. They could of course be brilliant actors, but I’m happy to be naive on this one. We’re building a great culture at the club imo.
Villa are discretely throwing mental money at it btw. Had the 6th highest wage bill in the PL last season which for a team that was playing in the championship 5 years ago is crazy. Think it could be a good move for Rashford like but I do think he’s a tad overrated. Would’ve rather had Felix.
I was round my mates the other week who's a mag and he had no idea he played for us. Went mental when I told him he didn't get a kick
It sounds insane to say but Isidor is the first and arguably only foreign signing from abroad that’s been a success under this regime.
