Think it just allows us more scope now looking for two players, before one would have to be a loan and one would be a permanent Interesting RLB said ideally they wanted one player to cover all of the forward options maybe now that's out of the question and now they know they definitely need the two hence the option being taken up
It's like he was born on Bridge Street ... ... I don't think I've ever seen a player so mad for the club.
If we do get Clarke, I would definitely be playing Mundle on the right instead of Roberts. Our attack would be much more threatening. Could they rotate mid game too?
€12m would be a lot for us if we aren't promoted, considering that Isidor is now our record fee paid under KLD
It's absolutely fantastic isn't it ... ... much better than Will Grigg who cost us £1m a goal. KLD should have a huge apology from some of our supporters, won't happen of course ... ... big mouths then, full of humble pie now.
The only way Clarke comes back is if Watson leaves and if there's a permanent deal at the end of it imo. If we could push Brighton to pay £8-12m with a sell on and get Clarke on loan with £12m agreed in the summer (£15m if we get promoted), It would be superb business.
I'd love to sign that lad. Him and either Clarke or Rowe for the wing and it would be the best window we've ever had.
Seriously £3.3m is mental. Like properly mental. That’s the kind of fee parachute clubs pay as a LOAN fee for strikers.
Yep. I understand the excitement around Neil signing a new contract but that doesn’t make us a better team and we currently aren’t top 2 so we need to improve. Those around us are signing players so would be silly of us to only bring in ELF imo.
Really feels like these know what they are doing, have a plan and sticking to it. He’s made mistakes kld but for a young lad he’s defo got us going the right way.
really pleased with this signing. I really like Villa and I like Rashford and I didn’t want to see him ending in Saudi or PSG etc
